A7 Printed Flyers & Leaflets

A7 paper is only a little bigger than the standard UK business card size. This puts it in a funny space as it’s not so small to be used only as a business card, but it’s not large enough to capitalise on the space with influential images. However, many choose to use the A7 paper for their business cards as it is more prominent – its larger size means it sticks out from all the other, standard sized cards.

At Print-Print, we provide a higher standard of flyer and leaflet printing services for A7 paper. What we mean by this is that we actually put emphasis on our printing procedures based on the smallness of the paper. This cannot be achieved alone though. Please strongly consider using the thickest paper density available as you do not want the paper to easily tear. This is especially important if it is given as a business card and saved by the recipient.

What Type of Publications Use A7 Flyers and Leaflets?

A safe way to look at it is that the A7 paper size is best suited if you want a larger surface for no more information than you would fit on a business card. Sure, it can be used to showcase one particular feature, product, or event, but you cannot display a diverse selection of information on this small space.

A7 flyers and leaflets are best used for:

  • Large business cards
  • Limited information
  • Folder inserts
  • Building brand awareness
  • Showcasing a special offer

and are small enough that they can be put into your pocket or wallet. This increases the retention rate and ultimately leads to a higher response rate. To further increase your response rate, try to make sure that the recipient is generally aware of what makes you or your offering so special; your leaflet should just serve as a reference to entice a follow-up on their part.

What Style Flyers and Leaflets Are Available?

A7 flyers and leaflets are pretty limited when it comes to style options. Most will choose a landscape style template, as you cannot really put an effective portrait design on this size of paper. Some other things to consider include:

  • Would a solid colour or white background be better, or should you include an image in the background?
  • What is your call to action – do you have an enticing offer or interesting event and all the details on how they can join in or read more?
  • Have you capitalised on the opportunity to further grow your connection with the recipient, such as by noting your social media page URLs or website URL?
  • Are you able to get everything across that you need to in this small amount of space?

As mentioned, choosing a thick paper density is suggested when printing A7 flyers or leaflets. We offer these in the following thicknesses: 100gsm - 350gsm.

What Are A7 Dimensions?

A7 paper is half the size of A6. As an internationally standard paper size, its’ dimensions in imperial and metric form are:

  • 74 x 105 mm
  • 7.4 x 10.5 cm
  • 2.9 x 4.1 inches

Can I Use A7 to Print Business Cards?

Certainly!

A7 paper is not that much bigger than standard business card paper. This makes it a great alternative as it will stand out in comparison to a normal business card, but it’s not too big to cause any issues – it’s still pocket and wallet friendly!
