Free Funeral Order of Service Design Templates

Add your personal touch to your order of service design

Designing a funeral Order of Service needs a personal touch – and that means it’s often down to the friends and family of the departed to get things just right.

But for most people, designing a booklet is something they’ve never done before. And that can make the process stressful, especially during an already difficult time.

So instead, you can start with one of our free Order of Service templates – a professionally designed booklet that comes ready-made for you to add your own personalised photos, colours, imagery, and messages.

All of our artwork templates have been carefully crafted by our own in-house team of experienced graphic designers to cover a range of personalities and sentiments – from traditional and dignified to colourful and bold.

So however you want to honour the life of someone lost, you can get the personalised (and professionally designed) booklet you need – without the time and stress of starting from scratch.

Each Order of Service template below comes with a minimum of 4 printed pages in a standard A5 size (210 x 148 mm). To increase the number of pages, just repeat the pages until you have what you need, but just remember an A4 sheet folded in half makes an A5 4 page document, multiples of these 4 pages are then used to create a booklet.

Please note: All of our design templates use images of models and have fictitious names.

What’s inside?

We’ve included all the basic artwork you need to present each page in a way that fits the colours and themes of the booklet, with stock photos of actors to show you where you can place your photos.

All of our templates come with a front and back cover, with a selection of page layouts throughout to give you options for how and where to present your messages, memories, anecdotes, and images.

Our Order of Service templates come as a complete and cohesive themed design, with all the layouts, colours, and background imagery you need. But we also know that a funeral service is a personal experience – so we’ve worked hard to make our templates as customisable as possible.

All of the text fields and images (and most of the colours) can be easily changed and adjusted to fit the tastes and personalities of your family and your loved one – so you can quickly and easily take a professionally designed template and truly make it your own.

Once you’ve downloaded a template that you’re happy with, simply add in the photos and imagery you want to include, and write in the messages and text you want people to read.

If you’re having trouble deciding what goes where, we’ve put together an in-depth guide to help you write and arrange your Order of Service.

Still haven’t found the perfect design?
